Terry & Beverly Gainer
have been married over 23 years and in Ministry for over
20 years. They both grew up in Williamston, North Carolina. After
graduation from High School, Terry spent the next 24 years in the Air
Force. He retired in 2003 and is now working as a Department of the Air
Force Civilian. Terry attended Mount Olive College and
received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. After high school Beverly worked
in retail sales and
banking. She has been a registered home educator in the North
Carolina for the past 15 years.
They’ve worked in
many areas of Ministry in the church. Over their 22 plus
years of ministry they have served in Sunday School, Choir, Multimedia, Worship,
Drama, Intercessory Prayer, Women’s Ministry (Bev),
and Maintenance (Terry). They served as Youth Pastors for over
eight years and have also served as Children’s Pastors.
Their desire is to
see people experience true success: fulfilling God’s purpose for their
lives.
Terry, an ordained
PFWB minister, is the
Associate Pastor at Sheridan Forest. Beverly is on the Worship Team,
and they are both on Sheridan Forest's Leadership Council.
The have two
wonderful daughters: Shakia and Ashley. Ashley is a junior in high
school, and Shakia graduated from Meredith College in May 2007.
Both are gifted dancers and minister those gifts in the church.
