 Pastor Ron and Barbara Haase

Ron Haase
and his wife Barbara have been married for 42 years. Ron was born and
raised in Southern Minnesota. After high school graduation, in 1962, he
served in the US Air Force for 4 years. He met Barb when he was
stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB. They lived in Minnesota from 1966
until 2001, while Ron worked as a Project Designer for Excel Energy.
Upon retirement, they moved back to North Carolina.
They have been
active in church ministry for many years. Over the years, Ron has been
a lay leader, deacon, Sunday School Superintendent and teacher, and a
Certified Lay Speaker. He also has been a Praise and Worship Leader and
has 30 plus years of experience directing various church choirs. Over
the years, Barb has been very active in a variety of Women’s ministries.
Ron has a Local
License to preach with the PFWB Church. At present, Ron and Barb are
developing an Adult Seniors ministry at Sheridan Forest. Ron is also in
the process of building a choir here at Sheridan Forest.
They have one
daughter named Mary, who lives in Eden Prairie, Minnesota with her
husband Ahmad. Ron and Barb have two grandchildren Hamid, who is 4
years old, and Sana, who is 1 year old.
